SRX13820294: Exon-capture data for M. annua (6x) sample 6nh1
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina NovaSeq 6000) run: 2.1M spots, 640.6M bases, 198.4Mb downloads

Design: Target capture probes were designed based on exons and other non-repetitive fractions of v1.3 of the M. annua genome assembly
Submitted by: University of Lausanne
Study: Mercurialis phylogeny, using sex-linked and autosomal loci
show Abstracthide Abstract
The plant genus Mercurialis includes dioecious, monoecious and androdioecious species (where males co-exist with hermaphrodites). Its diversification involved reticulate evolution via hybridisation and polyploidisation. The Y chromosome of the diploid species M. annua shows only mild signs of degeneration. We used sequence variation at a Y-linked locus in several species and at multiple autosomal and pseudoautosomal loci to investigate the origin and evolution of the Y chromosome across the genus.
Sample: Used for all loci (sample 6nh1)
